Privacy Policy

This Policy applies to information collected through our website, applications, programs, coaching, community, sales calls, marketing campaigns, emails, SMS messages, and any other interaction with CloseHer Academy (collectively, the "Services").

Information you provide directly, including: name, email, phone number, country/province, social media handles, application answers, payment details (processed by our payment processors), testimonials, and any information you submit on calls, in the member portal, or in our community.

Information collected automatically, including: IP address, device and browser type, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, time on page, clicks, conversion events, geolocation (approximate), and cookie identifiers.

Information from third parties, including: lead-form submissions from Meta/Facebook and Instagram, scheduling data from Calendly, CRM data from GoHighLevel, communications data from Slack, analytics from Google or Meta, and payment confirmations from payment processors.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of majority in their jurisdiction.

We use personal information to: (a) provide, operate, and improve the Services; (b) process applications, payments, and enrollments; (c) communicate with you, including reminders, support, and marketing; (d) personalize content and offers; (e) measure ad performance and optimize campaigns; (f) enforce our Terms and prevent fraud; (g) comply with legal obligations; and (h) any other purpose disclosed at the time of collection or to which you consent.

We rely on your express or implied consent to collect, use, and disclose personal information, as required by PIPEDA and substantially similar provincial laws. You may withdraw consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice, by contacting us note that withdrawal may prevent us from providing the Services.

We comply with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). By providing your contact details you consent to receive commercial electronic messages from CloseHer Academy. You may unsubscribe from email at any time via the link in any message, and from SMS by replying STOP. Transactional messages relating to your account or purchase will continue to be sent.

We use cookies and similar technologies (including the Meta Pixel, Google tags, and similar) to operate the Site, remember preferences, measure traffic, and deliver targeted advertising. You can control cookies in your browser. Disabling cookies may limit functionality.

Server-side conversion measurement. In addition to browser-based pixels, we may send conversion events (such as a page view, lead submission, or completed registration) directly from our servers to advertising platforms using the Meta Conversions API or equivalent tools. Identifiers used for matching such as email address, phone number, and IP address are cryptographically hashed (SHA-256) before transmission where the platform supports it. These events are used for advertising attribution and optimization. You may opt out of interest-based advertising through your Meta/Google ad settings or through youradchoices.ca.

This Site is not part of or endorsed by Facebook/Meta in any way. FACEBOOK is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc.

We may disclose personal information to: (a) service providers acting on our behalf (hosting, CRM, email, SMS, analytics, payment processing, scheduling, customer support), under appropriate contractual safeguards; (b) advisors, lawyers, accountants, and auditors; (c) authorities or third parties where required by law, subpoena, court order, or to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of others; and (d) successors in connection with any merger, sale, financing, or reorganization.

We do not sell personal information.

Personal information may be stored or processed outside your province or country, including in the United States and the European Union, by our service providers. While outside Canada, personal information may be subject to the laws of the jurisdiction where it is held, including lawful access by foreign authorities. By using the Services, you consent to such transfers.

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Policy, comply with legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods vary by data type and applicable law.

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against loss, theft, unauthorized access, disclosure, or alteration. No system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

If a breach of security safeguards involving your personal information creates a real risk of significant harm, we will notify you and the applicable regulator including the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta and/or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada as and when required by PIPA and PIPEDA, and will maintain records of such breaches as required by law.

Sales calls, coaching calls, and support sessions may be recorded or transcribed for training, quality assurance, dispute resolution, and marketing purposes, and notice is provided before or at the start of the call. Emails, SMS, and community messages exchanged with us may be stored in our CRM. If you do not consent to being recorded, tell us before the call begins.

We use automated tools for lead scoring, routing, advertising optimization, and reminder scheduling. We do not make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects about you based solely on automated processing without human involvement.

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, correct, and request deletion of your personal information; to request information about how it has been used and to whom it has been disclosed; to withdraw consent; and to file a complaint with the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, or your provincial regulator. To exercise any right, contact us at the address below. We may require verification of your identity and will respond within the timeframes required by law (generally 45 days under PIPA, 30 days under PIPEDA).

Residents of the EEA/UK. Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, our lawful bases are consent, performance of a contract, and legitimate interests, and you additionally have rights of portability, restriction, and objection, including objection to direct marketing.

Residents of U.S. states with privacy laws (such as California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, and Virginia) may request access, correction, deletion, and portability, and may opt out of targeted advertising or any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information as those terms are defined in those laws. We do not sell personal information for money. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

The Services may link to or integrate with third-party platforms, including Meta/Facebook, Instagram, Google, Calendly, GoHighLevel, Slack, Resend, Supabase/Lovable Cloud hosting, and payment processors. We are not responsible for their privacy practices and encourage you to read their privacy policies.

We may update this Policy from time to time by posting the revised version with a new "Last Updated" date. Material changes will be communicated as required by law.
